Fantasy General: A Turn-Based Strategy Game
Fantasy General is a turn-based strategy game that invites players to enter a world of heroes, swords, magic, and beasts. The game is the third installment in Strategic Simulations’ Five Star General Series and offers a unique contrast to the series' usual World War II setting. In Fantasy General, players must lead their army into battle against the Shadowlord’s forces and defeat each of his lieutenants across varying terrain and battlefields. The game features an atmospheric choral soundtrack, a user-friendly, point-and-click interface, and engaging strategic gameplay.
As a player, you must build your army from the ground up, research upgrades to strengthen your forces, and augment your army with items and heroes who will aid you in your plight. The game offers five continents to battle the Shadowlord’s forces and lieutenants, four champions to choose from, each with unique traits and abilities, over ten unit classes, and four races to recruit from. Additionally, you can uncover hidden items and heroes to upgrade your troops and lead your army. The game offers three modes, Campaign, Scenarios, and Local Multiplayer, making it an engaging and exciting experience for all strategy game lovers.
